84 O God, Author of life, Giver of ever good gift, send Thy blessings upon this one who I bless in Thy Name, underprivileged to hear the Gospel. O thou deaf spirit, you've desired to do this so you could send her before a moving vehicle and kill her. But I adjure thee by the living God and Jesus Christ His Son, that you depart and come out of her. Every one keep your head bowed, please. It'll go from one to another. You run it back on the woman then. Don't raise your head till you hear my voice. The spirit left the woman, come right back again. Keep your head bowed, for if you don't it'll come to you.

DEVIL SIN OF FORNICATION TO MAKE A GIRL TO PARTIALLY DEAF
33 And looking at the lady again, I started to pray for this other lady. And just then she walked up, the lady did, a fine looking young lady, and she had dark hair way down low on her shoulder. And I said, "Good evening."
And she said, "Good evening."
And I took a hold of her hand, well, it seemed strange. There was a—a—a vibration coming of a deafness. I said, "You hear me?"
She said, "Yes, sir." I said, "Why, you… It's—it's a deaf…" She said, "I'm deaf in one ear." I said, "I knew it was a deaf spirit.
I couldn't tell just how much."
And she said… She said, "Yes, sir. I've been deaf in my ear for many years."
And I said, "You believe that Jesus will heal you if I ask Him?"
She said, "With all my heart, I believe it."
And very saintly looking little girl. And I… Young lady about in her twenties, I suppose… I bowed my head to pray for the girl. And when I did, I raised up and took a hold of her hand, the vibration would not stop. Just kind of worked up over what was going on, 'cause it—it feels just like something pulling on you like that. Just… When you're under the anointing, you can just tell it. It just feels everywhere. It just coming like something pulling like that.

36 And then I looked at the girl, and I said, "Well, it's strange." And I gave… I asked Jesus again to heal her, and it just held right on. Well, I said, "There's something wrong. It will not go." And I said… I looked at her like that. And just as I looked at the girl, she was, oh, probably five foot two or three inches tall, and she… I seen that girl go right back across the stage. That's the way it went, went right across the stage. And I seen the little girl, fourteen years old standing there. She had long plaits hanging down her back, with little checkered ribbons.
I said, "You, when you was about fourteen years old, you wore long plaits, didn't you."
She said, "Yes, sir."
37 And I seen that girl take the road that's wrong, and here it started. And I just started telling just what I seen. I said, "When you was fourteen years old, you took a road that's wrong. And you had a baby by a man before you were married to him."
Now, remember friends, if you've got open sin, you confess it before you come up here if—if you don't want the public to know about it, because it certainly tells everything right out.
So the girl said… started crying. Said, "That's right."
I said, "You married a man that you didn't love."
She said, "That's right."
I said, "You left him."
"That's right."
I said, "Then you got with some religious cult, and they had you to marry another man."
"That's right."
I said, "You didn't love him and you left him."
"That's right."
I said, "You're married to another man."
"That's it."
And that time I said, "You was a Christian once, and you've gone back and backslidden on God."
"That's right."
And she staggered like she was going to faint to fall to the floor. And when she did, she screamed, and God forgave her; her hearing come back, and she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, standing on the platform like that, standing there just at—just all at once.

TO SEND TO PREMATURE GRAVE
75 I pray Thee Father, to be merciful to this man, standing here with this big trumpet sticking in his ear. Satan has did this evil so that he could run him before a vehicle somewhere and kill him, send him to a premature grave. That enemy, he's a horrible fellow. But Thou art the glorious Son of God Who stripped him from all of his powers at Calvary.
And Lord, I pray that You'll give us that which You promised to this very night. That you said, "Whatever you ask in My Name, that I'll do." And I ask that this evil deaf spirit that's binding the man come out him. In the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, may it leave him.

CUT OF THE NERVES FROM HEARING
52 Why didn't it kill it all over its body. Like if there a transparent band around my hand and you couldn't see it, my hand would turn black and blue and swell up. Well, the doctor might come and say, "Now, the circulation stopped in here."
"Well, what stopped it?"
If it's transparent and can't see it, it's, "I don't know." He can't feel it. That's the only thing that anyone can work on, is what you can see or—or feel, of some of the senses will declare. Well, now, here's what it is: It's the devil. Now, Jesus said it was. And you believe Him? Speaking in the Bible terms, He said, "When the deaf spirit come out of the man, he could hear." The deaf spirit… And if the doctor can't tell why that nerve is dead, why, it's a demon setting there, it's cut off the hearing of that ear.
Now, if I wanted my hand to receive life again, is to loose this transparent band here, circulation. If nature's not hindered, why, it'll function all right. Is that right? Well, that transparent band has got everything cut off and so nature can't function. Move the band, it won't… Might not be well right then, but it'll get well; give it a chance. And if the devil is gone out, the man can hear. That nerve becomes active again. See? And the Bible said it was a spirit. When the deaf and dumb spirit went out of the man, he could speak and hear. Is that right? All right.

85 Now, Who can make the deaf to hear or the dumb to speak? Now, if she'd been in that other line, It would've told her how long she'd been that way or what had happened. Any of you all know there how long she's been that way? Anybody know? What say? All her life, this lady said, she's been deaf and dumb. And here she can both speak and hear.
Now, look, lady… She can't understand too much now. But look, she's going to have to be like a baby. You're going to have to teach her, just like a baby, get her to say… Now, see, what happened, it's just like this, her ears, like the nerve in her ears had gone dead. The doctor says it's a dead nerve, her vocal the same way. What made it go dead? It's not dead all over her body, just dead there. What is it? It's a spirit. If he can't find…

155 Next was glaucoma of the eye. The Indians has much of it, and prayed for that one. Next come out was a—was a little girl, and she kept her head down like that. I said, "Now…" She was a little bitty fellow about like that. And happened to be one of the chief's daughter. I said, "Now, the little girl," I said, "she's had a fever, and the fever made her go deaf and dumb. She can't speak or hear."
156 And the interpreter said that, and the mother, "That was right, every bit of it was right." Them Indians then begin to look around at one another, you know. They begin to see something they had never seen. Yeah.
157 So I said, "Now, I cannot make the—the girl to speak and hear. That takes God." But I said, "This is just the—the sign that He's here, that His Presence is here. He has us anointed." And so I took the little girl by the hand. I said, "Heavenly Father." They don't interpret the prayer. I said, "Let this deaf and dumb spirit leave this child." And I got down to her, and I [Brother Branham claps his hands—Ed.] done like that. She turned around and looked at me with them big black eyes, and I said, "You say, 'Praise the Lord.'"
